Thermometer – Measures atmospheric temperature.

Anemometer - Measures wind speed.
·
Wind vane or weather vane – Determines wind
direction.

Rain gauge – Measures the amount of rain.

Barometer – Measure air pressure
2. What
are clouds? What are the types of clouds?
Clouds are collection of droplets of
water floating in air.
Types of clouds
·
Stratus – Flat, grey cloud. Found in the
lower level can be seen early in the morning and late in the afternoon
·
Cirrus – These are thin, curly and feathery
clouds. Formed high up in the sky where air is thin.
·
Cumulus – These clouds are heaped and fluffy
like cotton. When this becomes too big bring bad weather.
·
Nimbus – These are rain clouds. Appears
grey, blue or blackish. Composed of big droplets ready to open as rain.
