   2.   Write a note on weather.
·        Weather is the conditions in the atmosphere over a place for a short period of time.
·        The main parts of weather are precipitation, temperature and wind.
·        All these parts can be measured and used to describe the weather.

   3.   Why is precipitation important?
·        The amount of precipitation influences the amount of water available.
·        In Arabian Gulf countries, there is very little rainfall for most of the year. Therefore, availability of water is less.
·        Rainfall also influences the food crops to be grown and the animals to be reared.
