1. Sam picked 1,181 plums and Mike picked 4,933 plums from the orchard. How many plums did they pick together?

2. Tim grew 5,521 turnips and Joan grew 1,463 turnips this year. How many turnips did they grow together?

3. There are 1,562 pencils in the stockroom. Jessica placed 6,673 more pencils in the stockroom. How many pencils are there in the stockroom?
