Circular - 29/11/2015

Dear Parents,
Greetings from Birla-World School!
Just as you are aware, we are running an International curriculum (CBSE-International) in the school in which your wards are getting educated. We have a syllabus which equips and gives exposure to the children with knowledge in various fields and streams of studies. General Knowledge & Life Skills is one of the most important area and an integral part of this international curriculum. You may kindly note that we do not have any religious studies as part of the curriculum but there is a need to give information to the children about various religions, customs, cultures and traditions around the world as they are in an international curriculum.

Again as you are aware our syllabus is an activity based curriculum where learning happens partly through activities also and hence we would be carrying out various activities, fun based learning games in all the areas. Kindly note that the school does not endorse or oppose any religious beliefs or culture or traditions and the children are left free to decide as per their beliefs and culture. Our primary duty is to get them positively exposed to various facets of life, knowledge and systems in the world and support them in their knowledge enhancement.

We do give an open hearing and have a very open mind and approach to Parents’ suggestions and concerns. But we like to make it very clear that the syllabus and classes would be carried out as per the requirements of the Affiliation body & the curriculum and the activities would be carried out as per the requirements of syllabus only and we humbly request parents NOT TO interfere in this area.

Looking forward to your continued support and appreciating your understanding

Thanks & Regards

MONZY OOOMMEN
