Circular on 'Mental Math Competition'

Mental Math Competition will be held on 13.2.17, Monday during school hours.

Circular on 'Fancy Dress Competition'

Dear Parents

Fancy Dress competition will be held on 2^nd March, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the school auditorium.

Points to note:

1. Participants are requested to report by 5:00 PM in their own theme costumes (Fancy Dress costume)

2. Participants in the Fancy dress competition need to come dressed with necessary make up from home itself.

3. Participants must speak about the character they are portraying for at least one minute. Kindly send the content, the child is speaking to their respective class teachers.

4. This is to help the teacher prompt incase child forgets on stage.

The themes are as follows:-

Grade 1 Designer Wear Costumes

Grade 2 If I were a Robot

Grade 3 Asian Traditional Costumes

Grade 4 African Traditional Costumes

Grade 5 European Traditional Costumes

The costumes can be made from anything—cloth, paper, leaves tissue etc

The Criteria will be as follows:-

1. Dress

2. Confidence

3. Clarity of speech

4. Content of the speech, on the character represented

Reminder - Finals of "I am Poet"

Dear parents,

The finals of “I am Poet” will be held on 9^th February 2017 (Thursday) at 6:00 pm in the school auditorium.

The judgement criteria are as follows:-

1. Confidence

2. Clarity of Speech

3. Creativity/ choice of the poem

Important note:

· No nursery rhymes allowed.

· Students should learn poem by heart.

· Age appropriate poem of your choice.

· You are free to choose any topic e.g. Nature, friendship, Peace, Love, Unity etc.

· Recitation must be in English only.

· Children can recite the same poem recited during the selection session.

Note: Participants must report at 5:30 pm in proper school uniform.
