Explanation of the answer for grade 2, 3 students:
All the above words are called “palindromes”. A Palindrome is a word or a phrase that reads the same backward and forward.
Eg:  Banana
Take the letter B and place it after the last letter “a”. Read the word backwards. You will still read the same word “banana” again. This applies to all the above words.
