HUMAN IMPACT ON ECOSYSTEM

Humans use land in many ways. They use land for home, work, food, recreation and to supply other resources. They farm, mine, build cities and travel. All of these activities can change environments and cause plants and animals to lose their habitats.


LIFE CYCLE OF HONEY BEES

·        Queen bee lays egg in a wax cell.
·        Worker bees feed hatched larva
·        Larva reaches full growth.
·        Workers seal cell with wax.
·        Larva spins cocoon and changes into pupa.
·        Adult bees leaves cell.

5. What is pollination?
Ans: Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred to the female reproductive organs of a plant, thereby enabling fertilization to take place.

6. What is the role of honey bees in pollination?
Ans: Honey bees take the necter of a plant and land on the same type of flower and this is also called as pollination. This way they transfer their pollen from flower to flower.
