is the movement of people or things from one place to another.

DIFFERENT MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION?
Ans. Means of
transportation can be classified into four groups: -
• Roadways
• Railways
• Waterways
• Airways
Roadways
• Cars, buses, trucks, vans, motorized bikes etc move on roads.
• They are fast moving vehicle and take less time.
• These vehicles use petrol / diesel / CNG / electricity to run.
Railways:
• Trains run on tracks.
• They carry many passengers and tonnes of goods (Coal iron, steel,
cement, fuel etc) at once.
• We can travel over long and short distances in a train.
