Explain xeric adaptation taking camel as an example?
The animals that live in very dry areas belong to xeric habitat.
·        Camel have:
-     Long eyelashes to protect from sandstorms.
-     Stretchy nose to keep out the sand
-     Leathery mouth to eat spiky plants
-     Hump for storing food.
-     Long legs to keep it off the hot sand
-     Padded feet to protect from heat of the ground
Explain cactus adaptation?
Cactus is a desert plant having the following adaptation to survive in the desert vegetation.
·        Wide spread root system
·        Stems that can store water
·        Spines instead of leaves
·        Small size to minimize evaporation

Ans. Communication is the process of conveying messages to others.

Q. What are the elements of communication?

Ans. The elements of communication are:
·        Sender -  The person who sends the message.
·        Receiver - The person who receives the message.
·        Message - Subject matter of communication. It may contain facts, ideas, feelings or thoughts.
·        Medium – The way of sending or receiving messages.
·        Feedback -  Receiver’s response or reply to the sender.
